Energy Plans

Non-renewable resources are being consumed at an ever increasing rate. These resources can be expected to become more and more expensive over the next decade. Building a sustainable community requires the transition to renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, biomass, and others. Making this transition combines the need to plan at the community level while individuals take action and make choices on a day-to-day basis. Many resources and planning techniques exist. Some well known approaches include:

  1. The Natural Step (originally developed in Sweden but now popular around the world)
  2. Ecological Design
  3. Community Energy Planning
