This is a pretty provocative video for Nissan to put out, especially given that they produce a very large number of internal combustion engine cars. They poke fun at the Chevy Volt. Perhaps, to be fair, they should have shown one of their SUV products at the gasoline pump. Still, this video makes you think. Actually, this is the world we live in, where fossil fuel driven electricity generating stations do produce this kind of smoke and it is killing people. Electric cars, electric anything only makes sense when you combine the picture of the product with the sun, renewable energy, solar power, in the form of wind, geothermal, and direct solar electricity generation. So, when you buy your 100% electric Nissan leaf, make sure you also buy 100% clean green renewable energy.
